Elaine there has been some research in this, but if you actually read the medical journals, the results are incredibly mixed. It depends on sex and type of alcohol consumed and therefore results are inconclusive. BIG PLUS here Elaine: you’re articles that you cite in support of drinking do not mention any of the issues you initially had with my article, the DNA changes or cancer. The topic is cardiology. They don’t mention DNA changes and cancer because they are both absolutely true. Alcohol even in small quantities causes DNA changes that can lead to cancer.
You should read up on this and try and stop posting misleading quotes. I have lost too many people in my family to cancer and the links between moderate drinking or any drinking and cancer are proven time and time again. I don’t normally reply to people writing poorly researched criticism but you are the one misleading people and it’s dangerous.
