Have you ever read that book Big Magic? A friend bought this for me a couple years back- admittedly I’ve only read 2 chapters. But the author talks about a time when she didn’t publish a book then someone else did on exactly the same topic. She talks about ideas as entities that find someone they fit with. I like it.
