Oh my god absolutely.

“Unconventional” women face a bigger hurdle of social proof in my experience. Women without partners, single mothers, fat women, disabled women... you might roll your eyes but I really do believe that impacts the way other people see and evaluate our worth. Perhaps even without their realizing it.
