Shannon thank you for this measured and honest response. Yes, I realise that my article doesn't fully explain why writers have lost views, like you say there's many possibilities. I didn't write this to offend anyone but I know that it may do that. Particularly if like you say, not replying to comments for you is not because you're too busy sipping pina coladas but because you have an insanely hectic and exhausting life. I get you, I'm a single parent too and I sometimes lie in bed at midnight realizing that I haven't done anything I wanted to or needed to do all day.
