Well Jesse, this is the world of online writing. Im not saying that any of the writers I follow are only there for the blurb, but its a way to get people to follow you. I don't think its a shallow article, I'm trying to offer new writers honest advice. The online writing world unfortnuately whether you like it or not does need you to present yourself. you need to have these things to get people to read your writing and then like you for your writing. Its like jumping through hoops to get somewhere you want to be. Good luck!
